Horizon Mini Storage opened in April of 2002 with 143 units. In late 2003 we saw that Port St. John had the demand for more storage. So in response we started the process of our first expansion in January of 2004. Construction started in May and was completed at the end of July 2004. We opened the expansion in September adding 106 units to the Port St. John market for a total of 249 units. Now in April of 2005 we are consistently at 99% occupancy and are starting the plans for our next expansion.
